Full-motion VT-04 driver trainer

A full-motion, high-fidelity training system that recreates the complete driver compartment of a main battle tank, so crews can build real driving skills safely, repeatedly and at a fraction of live-vehicle cost.

The cockpit is a faithful copy of the VT-04 tank driver compartment, with space allocation, seating position and control layout matched to the real vehicle. Trainees operate genuine hard controls, including steering, accelerator, brake pedal and gear shifter, together with cabin lights, fire alarms, engine heat-up, engine start and auxiliary systems.

A four-leg motion platform with a 700 kg lifting capacity converts simulated terrain and vehicle dynamics into physical motion cues, while a wide field of view across three connected screens gives the visibility needed for precise vehicle handling.

All training scenarios are developed in the Unity engine and customised to the user's terrain, routes and training objectives, preparing drivers for the real tank before they ever start its engine.
